The typical route is bus 101 followed by a transfer to a local connector bus toward Manjanggul. Bus intervals can be wide, so it’s worth checking the schedule before you leave — if time is tight, a taxi gets you there in about 15 minutes.

Manjanggul: Walking Into Another World Underground

Manjanggul stretches over 13 km total, but only about 1 km is open to visitors. That short stretch packs in the world’s tallest known lava column (7.6 meters), along with lava stalactites and lava-formed stalagmites found almost nowhere else.
