Overview

Opened in 1976, Sokcho Beach is one of Korea's most popular seaside destinations, known for its clear water and gentle slope that draw crowds of summer vacationers. A pine forest, walking trails, and photo spots like the giant compass sculpture and the Stairway to Heaven make it worth visiting in any season. In summer, the beach comes alive with festivals, craft beer events, and live busking performances.

1976년 개장한 속초해수욕장은 맑은 바닷물과 완만한 경사로 여름이면 전국 각지에서 피서객이 몰려드는 강원도의 대표 해변입니다. 소나무 숲과 산책로, 나침반 조형물과 천국의 계단 같은 포토존이 사계절 내내 볼거리를 더해줍니다. 여름철에는 해변축제와 수제맥주 축제, 버스킹 공연도 열려 즐길 거리가 풍성합니다.
