Jeonju Hyanggyo (Confucian School) · 전주향교

Jeonju Hyanggyo was a national Confucian academy during the Goryeo and Joseon dynasties, where scholars were honored and local students were educated. Its historic buildings, including the shrine hall Daeseongjeon and lecture hall Myeongnyundang, remain beautifully preserved, and the centuries-old ginkgo trees turn the courtyard golden in autumn. The serene stone walls and traditional architecture have made it a popular filming location for Korean dramas and movies.

전주향교는 고려·조선시대 지방 교육기관으로, 훌륭한 유학자들의 위패를 모신 대성전과 학생들이 공부하던 명륜당 등이 옛 모습 그대로 남아 있습니다. 400년 넘은 은행나무가 가을이면 황금빛으로 물들어 절경을 이루며, 고즈넉한 돌담과 어우러진 풍경 덕분에 여러 드라마와 영화의 촬영지로도 사랑받고 있습니다.
