Visiting Seoul for BTS in 2026? 7 Places ARMY Should Actually Know
Now that BTS has completed military service as a full group and is gearing up for a 2026 comeback album and world tour, more ARMY than ever are heading to Seoul. The problem is, a lot of the “BTS pilgrimage” lists floating around online still feature places that have already closed. Here are the 7 spots you can actually visit right now — including exactly how to get to each one.
1. HYBE Headquarters (Yongsan)
This is the headquarters of HYBE, the company led by founder Bang Si-hyuk, home to BTS along with TOMORROW X TOGETHER, ENHYPEN, and others. The address is 42 Hangang-daero, Yongsan-gu, and it’s accessible on foot from Sinyongsan Station (Line 4).
Here’s the important part. HYBE INSIGHT, the fan museum that used to occupy the lower floors of the building, closed permanently on January 15, 2023, and as of 2026 there’s been no announcement of it reopening. That space has since been converted into studios and practice rooms for HYBE’s artists, meaning it’s off-limits to the public. In other words, all you can do today is take photos of the building’s exterior — there’s no interior tour or merchandise shop to visit. If you’ve seen the museum’s interior in an older blog post or video, that content is outdated.
2. Jamsil Sports Complex — Members’ Handprints
Directly accessible from Sports Complex Station (Line 2 or Line 9). This is where you’ll find the members’ handprints, and it’s free to visit and photograph. It’s also a frequent concert venue, so if your trip lines up with a 2026 world tour date, it’s easy to combine with a concert visit.
3. Hakdong Park
About a 10-minute walk from Hakdong Station (Line 7). This quiet neighborhood park is known as a spot the members frequented during their trainee days. Trees planted here in September 2020 to mark RM’s 27th birthday give the park special meaning for fans. It’s not flashy, but it carries a genuine trace of the group’s pre-debut years.
4. Yujeong Sikdang (Restaurant)
About an 8-minute walk from Hakdong Station (Line 7), located on Dosan-daero 28-gil in Gangnam-gu. Note that the storefront sign actually reads “Jirisan Hwangtogol Native Black Pork” rather than the restaurant’s name, so it’s easier to navigate by address than by sign. This was a regular haunt for the members during their trainee days, and the walls and ceiling are covered in BTS photos and fan art. The menu includes ssambap, black pork kimchi jjigae, and black pork hot-stone bibimbap, and it’s open 10 a.m.–9:30 p.m. on weekdays (until 8 p.m. on weekends). It’s more than just a photo stop — you get an actual home-style Korean meal here.
5. Cafe Hyuga (Former Dorm)
Like the restaurant above, this sits within the Hakdong Station (Line 7) area in Nonhyeon-dong, so it’s easy to combine into the same walking route as the previous two spots. This three-story café occupies the members’ third dorm, renovated into a gallery-style café that also serves bakery items. Grabbing a coffee in the actual space where they once lived is a favorite stop that’s kept its appeal among fans over time.
6. Gyeongbokgung & Changdeokgung Palaces – Music Video Filming Locations
Gyeongbokgung is directly accessible from Exit 5 of Gyeongbokgung Station (Line 3), and Changdeokgung is a short walk from Exit 3 of Anguk Station (Line 3). BTS has featured both palaces in hanbok-themed photo shoots and stage concepts over the years. Both sites are UNESCO World Heritage–caliber attractions in their own right, giving them double appeal even for visitors who aren’t BTS fans.
7. Namsan & Hangang Park — Music Video Backdrops
Namsan (the cable car station) is reachable on foot from Myeongdong Station (Line 4), while Hangang Park’s nearest station depends on which section you’re visiting — Banpo Hangang Park is closest to Express Bus Terminal Station or Sinbanpo Station (Line 9), while Ttukseom Hangang Park is closest to Ttukseom Resort Station (Line 7). This iconic stretch of Seoul has appeared as a backdrop in several BTS music videos. Visiting around sunset gets you the closest match to how it looks on screen. Even without the BTS connection, it’s one of Seoul’s best nighttime views and shouldn’t be skipped.
