ILLIT Concert Guide for International Fans: Tickets, Travel & What to Know Before You Fly to Korea

ILLIT

Here’s the short version: the upcoming ILLIT concert encore isn’t in Seoul — it’s at Inspire Arena on Yeongjong Island, Incheon. If you were about to book a hotel in downtown Seoul, stop and read this first. Being near the airport actually makes your trip a lot easier to plan, not harder.

The ILLIT Concert Schedule So Far

ILLIT announced its first-ever headlining tour, “ILLIT LIVE PRESS START♥,” back in January 2026. Starting with the Seoul show in March, the group went on to sell out all 15 dates across five Japanese cities and Hong Kong. The tour wrapped with two shows in Hong Kong on August 22–23, and thanks to overwhelming demand, an encore leg was added.

  • Korea: October 17–18, 2026, Inspire Arena (Yeongjong Island, Incheon)
  • Japan: December 23, 24, 26, and 27, 2026, LaLa Arena Tokyo-Bay (Funabashi, Chiba)

Worth noting: all five members — Yunah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, and Iroha — performed together at that final Hong Kong show. Moka had adjusted her activities earlier in the year for health reasons, but as of August, all five members are active on this tour.

Presale and general sale dates for the encore have not been officially announced as of this writing. BELIFT LAB only confirms ticketing schedules through official Weverse notices, so treat estimated dates on other sites as unconfirmed until you see it there directly.

What Kind of Show Is This ILLIT Concert?

True to its name, “PRESS START♥” is built around a video-game concept. Each song plays out like clearing a “level” or “stage,” walking the audience through the group’s sound from debut to present. The concept landed well enough during the first run that it earned this encore leg.

How International Fans Get Tickets

Based on how the Seoul show worked, ticketing for international fans generally follows this order.

Step 1. Join the Weverse membership Sign up for the official GLLIT fanclub membership ahead of time. You’ll need this in place before you can even enter the membership presale raffle.

Step 2. Membership presale raffle Enter your name and date of birth exactly as they appear on your passport. A mismatch can get your win canceled, so double-check this before submitting.

Step 3. General sale Missed the membership window? You can still buy through general sale. NOL World (the international version of Interpark) is the easiest entry point for international fans — it supports English and overseas card payments.

Step 4. ID verification At the venue, you’ll go through identity verification with your passport, either via Face Pass or the on-site IN-PASS booth. This is standard anti-scalping practice, so bring the passport under the name your ticket is registered to.

One important caution: avoid buying from resale sites or social media transfers. Since identity verification is required, a mismatched name can get you turned away at the door entirely.

Practical Travel Tips for International Fans

Incheon Airport to Inspire Arena Inspire Arena sits inside Yeongjong Island, the same island as Incheon International Airport. It’s roughly a 10-minute drive from the airport — close enough that you could realistically land and catch the show the same day. There’s no need to book anything in Seoul; a one- or two-night stay in the resort area on Yeongjong Island covers it.

Inspire Arena is part of a large integrated resort complex, so hotels, restaurants, and shopping are all within the same grounds. Staying on-site cuts down on travel time before and after the show. Rooms do fill up fast during peak periods, so it’s worth booking as soon as the concert dates are confirmed.

Want to combine it with a Seoul trip? If you don’t want the concert to be the whole trip, take AREX (the airport express train) into Seoul Station the next day — it’s about 43 minutes non-stop. That makes it easy to stack the concert and a Seoul visit back-to-back.

Get an eSIM before you land Setting up an eSIM in advance means you’re online the moment you land. You’ll need internet for your ticket, maps, and translation apps right at the venue, so it’s worth handling this before departure.

Get a T-money card You can pick one up at any airport convenience store, and it works across the subway, buses, and AREX. It’s also handy for getting around Yeongjong Island itself.

Useful apps Naver Map for directions and Naver Papago for real-time translation are both solid picks. We’ve got dedicated guides on using both as a foreign tourist elsewhere on this site if you want the full walkthrough.

Currency exchange Private exchange counters in Myeongdong or downtown Seoul tend to offer slightly better rates than the airport. But if your trip is short and airport-based like this one, it’s more efficient to exchange a small amount at the airport for immediate needs and rely on a travel card for the rest.

What to Bring on Show Day

Korean concert culture usually involves an official lightstick and coordinated fan chants. Picking up the official lightstick in advance will make it much easier to follow along with the atmosphere. Battery rules and size limits can vary by venue, so check the guidelines that come with your ticket confirmation.

  • Passport (required for ID verification)
  • A screenshot of your ticket QR code (in case you lose signal)
  • A portable charger (you’ll be using your phone a lot)
  • eSIM or roaming set up in advance
  • A light jacket (indoor arenas run cold)

Concert etiquette Fan chants and cheering patterns are often set for specific songs at Korean concerts. If it’s your first time, don’t force it — just follow the crowd’s rhythm and pick it up naturally. Photo and video rules vary by segment of the show, so follow the announcements and staff instructions.

Going solo as an international fan isn’t something to worry about. K-pop concerts in Korea draw a huge international crowd these days, so venue staff and signage are usually set up with English speakers in mind. Don’t hesitate to ask staff on-site if you’re unsure about anything.
