Established in 1936 along Jumunjin Harbor, this lively market is Gangneung's go-to spot for fresh East Sea catches like squid, pollock, and crab at prices below市中 rates. With its dried seafood stalls and on-site sashimi centers, visitors can enjoy freshly sliced raw fish right where it's caught, making it a favorite among both local and international travelers.

1936년부터 주문진항을 따라 형성된 강릉의 대표 재래시장으로, 오징어와 명태, 게 등 동해에서 갓 잡은 신선한 수산물을 시중보다 저렴하게 만날 수 있다. 건어물시장과 회센터가 함께 자리해 즉석에서 싱싱한 회를 맛볼 수 있어 국내외 관광객의 발길이 끊이지 않는다.
