Hongjimun Gate and Tangchundaeseong Fortress · 홍지문과 탕춘대성

Hongjimun Gate and Tangchundaeseong Fortress were built during the Joseon Dynasty to strengthen the capital's defenses, linking Bukhansan Mountain with the city walls. Visitors can admire the fortress walls winding along the valley and the striking five-arched water gate spanning Hongjecheon Stream. Set against a scenic mountain backdrop, it's a popular walking route for experiencing Seoul's historic charm.

홍지문과 탕춘대성은 조선시대 도성 방어를 위해 세워진 관문과 성곽으로, 북한산과 도성을 연결하는 군사적 요충지 역할을 했습니다. 계곡을 따라 이어진 성벽과 홍제천 위에 놓인 오간대수문의 조화가 볼거리이며, 주변 산세와 어우러진 풍경이 인상적입니다. 서울 도심 속에서 옛 성곽의 정취를 느낄 수 있는 산책 코스로 사랑받고 있습니다.
