Located in Sindoan-myeon, Gyeryong City, these cornerstones are remnants of Sindoan, a site once planned as the new capital during the early Joseon Dynasty. The carefully carved stones, originally prepared for a royal palace that was never built, offer a glimpse into an ambitious relocation plan that history left unfinished. Set against the scenic backdrop of Gyeryongsan Mountain, the site invites visitors to reflect on a fascinating chapter of Korea's past.

충청남도 계룡시 신도안면에 남아 있는 이 주초석 석재들은 조선 초기 새 도읍지로 계획되었던 신도안의 흔적을 보여주는 귀중한 유적입니다. 당시 궁궐 건립을 위해 다듬어졌던 돌들이 오늘날까지 남아, 실현되지 못한 천도 계획의 역사를 전하고 있습니다. 계룡산의 수려한 자연 속에서 조선 왕조 초기의 이야기를 만나볼 수 있는 곳입니다.
