Born out of the black-market trade of canned goods and imported items brought in by the U.S. military after the Korean War, this historic Busan market earned its name 'Kkangtong' (Can) Market. Today it offers a lively mix of local street food, multicultural dishes, clothing, and accessories, all set against nightly street performances and vibrant LED lights. Having been featured on a reality show starring NewJeans, it's a fantastic spot to experience Korea's traditional market culture firsthand.

6·25 전쟁 이후 미군을 통해 각종 통조림과 수입품이 유통되면서 '깡통시장'이라는 이름이 붙은 부산의 대표 재래시장입니다. 지금도 향토 음식부터 다국적 먹거리, 의류와 액세서리까지 다양한 볼거리와 먹거리가 가득하며, 매일 열리는 거리 공연과 화려한 조명이 활기를 더합니다. 뉴진스가 출연한 예능 프로그램에도 소개된 적이 있어 부산 여행 중 한국의 옛 시장 문화를 체험하기에 좋은 장소입니다.
