BIFF Square marks the birthplace of the Busan International Film Festival, where handprints of celebrated filmmakers line the streets of this historic theater district. While the festival's main events have since moved to Haeundae, the area still buzzes with cinemas and retains the nostalgic charm of its early years. Today it has evolved into a vibrant hub blending shopping, street food, and culture, drawing crowds of young travelers eager to explore.

부산국제영화제의 발상지인 BIFF 광장은 남포동 극장가의 오랜 역사를 간직한 곳으로, 유명 영화인들의 핸드프린팅을 곳곳에서 만나볼 수 있습니다. 지금은 영화제 주요 행사가 해운대로 옮겨갔지만, 여전히 극장과 상영관이 밀집해 영화의 향수를 느낄 수 있는 특별한 거리입니다. 최근에는 쇼핑과 먹거리가 어우러진 복합문화공간으로 변모하며 젊은 여행자들의 발길이 끊이지 않고 있습니다.
