Gunsan 3.1 Movement 100th Anniversary Memorial Hall · 군산 3·1운동 100주년 기념관
Overview
This memorial hall commemorates the Gunsan March 5th Independence Movement, the first of its kind south of the Han River, and was designed to recreate the historic Yeongmyeong School building from a century ago. Visitors can explore vivid dioramas depicting the 1919 uprising along with relief sculptures of independence activists Yu Gwan-sun and Son Byeong-hui.

한강 이남 최초의 3·1 독립 만세 운동이었던 군산 3·5 만세운동을 기리기 위해 세워진 기념관으로, 100년 전 영명학교의 모습을 그대로 재현해 지어졌습니다. 당시 상황을 생생하게 담은 디오라마와 유관순 열사, 손병희 선생의 부조 등 다양한 유물을 만나볼 수 있습니다.
