Namdojinseong Fortress in Imhoe-myeon, Jindo, is a historic stone fortress originally built during the Goryeo Dynasty to defend against Japanese pirate raids, and its sturdy walls still stand today. Set amid a peaceful rural village, it offers visitors a chance to explore Jindo's layered history while enjoying the surrounding natural scenery.
