Overview
Just off the coast of Jeodong Port in Ulleungdo, Julleungdo Island earned its name from the dense bamboo forests that once covered it, and today forms part of the Ulleungdo & Dokdo National Geopark. Reachable only by boat, the island rewards visitors with sweeping ocean views from its flat, grassy summit, making for a memorable side trip from the main island.

울릉도 저동항 앞바다에 자리한 죽도는 대나무가 무성해 붙여진 이름으로, 울릉도·독도 국가지질공원의 일부를 이루는 아름다운 부속섬입니다. 섬 정상의 평탄한 초지와 사방으로 펼쳐지는 탁 트인 바다 전망이 인상적이며, 배를 타야만 닿을 수 있는 특별한 여정도 매력을 더합니다.
