영암향교는 조선시대 지역 유생들에게 유교 경전과 예법을 가르치던 교육기관으로, 지금도 전통 목조 건축의 격조 있는 아름다움을 간직하고 있습니다. 대성전을 비롯한 여러 건물들이 옛 모습 그대로 보존되어 있어 한국 전통 교육 문화를 엿볼 수 있는 조용한 답사지입니다.
