Sanbanggulsa Temple · 산방굴사

Nestled inside a natural cave on the slope of Sanbangsan Mountain, Sanbanggulsa Temple houses a small shrine with a Buddha statue and offers sweeping views over Seogwipo's coastline and Yongmeori Beach. Water dripping from the cave ceiling is believed to have healing properties, adding to the site's long-standing reputation as a place of spiritual devotion. A short climb up the mountain leads visitors to this unique blend of Jeju's natural beauty and religious heritage.

산방산 중턱 자연 동굴 안에 자리한 산방굴사는 불상을 모신 작은 법당과 함께 서귀포 앞바다와 용머리해안까지 탁 트인 전망을 선사합니다. 동굴 천장에서 떨어지는 물방울이 약수로 알려져 있어 예로부터 신비로운 기도처로 여겨져 왔습니다. 산방산 자락을 오르며 만나는 이 작은 사찰은 제주 자연과 신앙이 어우러진 특별한 공간입니다.
