Ganghwado Island · 강화도

Ganghwado, the fifth-largest island in Korea, is easily accessible from Seoul and Incheon thanks to its connecting bridges. The island is dotted with historical sites spanning from the Goryeo Dynasty to modern times, including the sacred Chamseongdan Altar atop Mt. Manisan, making it a popular destination for family history tours. Visitors can also enjoy local specialties like ginseng and hwamunseok reed mats, along with fishing at the island's scenic reservoirs.

우리나라에서 다섯 번째로 큰 섬인 강화도는 다리로 연결되어 서울과 인천에서도 쉽게 오갈 수 있는 곳입니다. 마니산 참성단을 비롯해 고려시대부터 근현대까지 이어진 역사 유적이 곳곳에 남아 있어 가족 단위 답사 여행지로 인기가 높습니다. 인삼과 화문석 같은 특산물, 그리고 저수지 낚시터도 함께 즐길 수 있습니다.
