율곡 이이가 태어난 곳으로 유명한 오죽헌은 조선 초기 건축양식을 잘 보여주는 보물로, 문성사와 율곡기념관 등에서 신사임당과 율곡 가족의 예술 작품을 만나볼 수 있습니다. 함께 자리한 강릉시립박물관에서는 영동지방의 민속자료와 역사 유물을 전시하여 지역의 전통문화를 깊이 있게 이해할 수 있습니다.
