Located right by Namdaemun Gate, this bustling traditional market is home to roughly 10,000 shops selling everything from clothing to kitchenware and fresh produce, living up to its reputation as the place where you can find almost anything. Just steps away from Myeongdong and N Seoul Tower, it draws around 300,000 visitors daily who come not only to shop but also to sample local favorites like oxtail soup, grilled hotteok, and the market's famous knife-cut noodle alley.

숭례문 앞에 자리한 남대문시장은 1만여 개 점포가 모여 있는 서울 최대 규모의 전통시장으로, 의류부터 주방용품, 농수산물까지 없는 것이 없다는 말이 나올 정도로 다양한 물건을 만날 수 있습니다. 명동과 남산타워 등 주요 관광지와도 가까워 하루 평균 30만 명이 찾는 명소이며, 꼬리곰탕과 갈치골목, 야채호떡 같은 시장 특유의 먹거리도 놓칠 수 없는 즐거움입니다.
