Wolgye-dong Janggo Tomb · 월계동 장고분

Located in Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju, this ancient tomb is named for its distinctive shape resembling a traditional Korean hourglass drum, with a square front and rounded rear. Dating back to the Three Kingdoms period, it offers valuable insight into ancient burial customs and cross-cultural exchanges between Korea and Japan.

광주 광산구에 위치한 장고분은 앞은 네모지고 뒤는 둥근 독특한 형태로, 마치 전통 악기 장구를 닮았다 하여 이름 붙여졌습니다. 삼국시대 고분 문화를 엿볼 수 있는 귀중한 유적으로 한일 고대 교류사를 연구하는 데 중요한 자료로 평가받습니다.
